I think scientists are incredibly creative people – faced with incredibly hard problems, mountains of data and an uncertain path forward, they (we!) nevertheless manage to find solutions that are both elegant and useful. Not that the ability to rapidly punch numbers and assimilate data isn’t important, but nurturing your creative side can only be a good thing in the long run.

Okay, you got me. I’m actually just trying to find a way to justify all of the non-science things that I do. I love music (playing/listening), comedy, satire, stunts and circus, to name a few, and I try and contribute to all of them. You can see some of my work on the links to your left!
